Lets say that the early stuff was to be released, then I dont really like the idea of a box set. I would prefer seperate re-issues available every six months with the original artwork preserved. I think it would represent the chronology of their career better and how the sound evolved over time. It would also look better in the record shop with a bigger back-catalogue to justify the fact that BoC are the top of the IDM tree!!!!

I never got to hear the DLS fakes when they were posted, and all of the download links in this thread seem to be dead now. Can someone upload them for me? I'd like to hear them.

well... for saying the true, I have them, but I think that I don't have the completed set.

I never understand what happened with this guy DLS and the whole supposed Closes vol1 leak story... Can anyone make a good abstract, like in... 2-3 lines?

And what to consider, "hearing" now that "Godever" track is from Black Giraffe, on myspace?

I only understand that this "Close3", this "Visuall Drone 12" that I have was already circulating in the web, in P2P.

Other thing... now that it is all in the fakes conversation:

I can't even remember what half the tracks sound like. I never kept them. I remember really really liking Found The Way though. Anybody still have that?

If I recall correctly, DLS was dooped out before he could finish putting all of the tracks up for download. I could be wrong.

Sorry - it's a Fake! Just a mix of tracks from the established Old Tunes/Few Old Tunes compilations.

Some interesting notes though:

Fake "Treeline" - haven't heard this before, sounds v.BOCish.

Fake "Focus on the Spiral" - starts off quite convincing then seems to "go wrong!"

Fake "Numerator Original" - hilarious - a fan-version (tribute?) to ROYGBIV that sounds ultra-cheesy.

Hey-ho, one day we may get to hear the originals, but for the meantime I suggest you delete these tracks and don't p2p them to save any further false alarms!

im not sure but this track 'tends towards' i mentioned sounds pretty genuine
maybe a bit like autechre but its not an obvious fake either..

has anyone determined if it is a fake?
