Well this being a BoC forum it is safe to say that the whole thing was a set-up from the start. The Music never existed in the first place and anyone who suposedly contributed a track is in fact the spawn of satan. Now you bastards are using the money to fund your sick and twisted lifestyles!!!!!!

  Just jerking your chains. I'm pissed about this as well as I was down for a copy. Still, things might get sorted in the end and Exit might get through this thing. Underneath it all I'm sure he wouldnt have wanted this. Fingers crossed eh.

I lost 80. And I contributed two tracks on the compilation. How do you think I feel about wasting time, money and effort into this?

Maybe that counts as "everyday/routine business before checking into institution" but apparently dealing with something that you started and involving 30 persons and nearly 640eur does not!

He also seemed to have time to delete me from his friend list on last.fm. How convenient...

Hmm... it appears I have been deleted as well. This is very, very shady.

I'm still waiting to hear from WWBJD, as I think he lost the most financially on this deal. I hope he doesn't leave permanently because of this.

NNY, I don't know how it is in Europe, but without a legal contract and with the sum of money (even though it's 80 bucks, and I know exactly how that feels) being so small, the amount of time and money and grief it would take to bust D4 over this is just not worth your while.

What saddens me is that I really feel like the community had something special going on, even though I lacked the talent to personally contribute. I've been a big supporter of the artists on this board, and I just think that whatever exchanges took place that this is unfair (almost entirely) to the artists. Life will go on for me if I'm shorted 20 bucks.

Hell, I'd be willing to look into local pressing options here if the money ever gets recovered. I'm just sad that the disc won't see the light of day more than anything else.

According to this, I might be the one who lost the most, aside from giving out my music in good will.
This is just way out of line and very disrespectful not only for me but to everybody involved.
Possibly something that BOC would be ashamed of their fans.

what is also bothering me a lot is that everything we've tried to do as a community so far hasn't been done. first the t-shirt, now this...i hope that at least we'll have a nice downloadable compilation along with Aesthetics' mix of it.

Is this what a new artist thinks every time you download their music for free?

The problem was not the idea of the compilation itself but the idea of a CD-R with no profit for anyone except for the Twoism forum, so he said...

You can't possibly understand how mad I'm about this. I was one of the first to pay the €16. I've put my trust in this guy and now this scam?

damn, i am glad my payment never went through. i had ordered 2 copies. i do feel bad for him though. i know what depression is like, it's a whole other world to be depressed. but at the same time he should return everyone's money. heck. it would probably be easier for him to just finish this fucking project than to return us all our money...

It's quite a shame that it came down to this. Lesson learned by me here: Never hand over your hard earned money to just anyone on the Internet. (Reputable & established businesses aside). Sorry to all who also shelled out their money, had their hopes up and were looking forward to this collectible DIY "honorary tribute" to two of the most talented musicians out there.

It's a great feeling to share, (or to be a part of a community of people sharing), something that they have a lot of passion for with other like-minded individuals. This is something which actually inspires people to want to create and do something tangible in an honorary fashion to the "thing or people or cause" that they're really passionate about...thus the One On Twoism compilation CD. The upsetting part of this is that it's such a letdown when in the end after sharing this passion or wanting to be a part of an end result and putting your money where your mouth is, (having a couple of extra dollars at the time), you're taken for a ride.

Still looking forward to eventually hearing all of the tracks that people put their heart and soul into...

I haven't read anything here, but was informed of the situation from another member.

I had tried sending you PM's (Aesthetics) over the weekend, but looked like mail wasn't working.

Swamped, just literally swamped at work, with another big deadline looming.

I'll do what I can over the next few nights to get the page up and get the space going for the download.

*expletives directed at Exit deleted*

So, sorry to everyone who lost their money. And to me, who lost a grand total for 8 CD's. YAY!

Wish I could get hard copies made for everyone. Web page is first priority (and I think I know someone who could definitely help out), then we'll see about hard copies (free of charge of course). Hell, I did like fifty copies of another CDr over Christmas for free.. I'm sure something could happen..

I'll be in contact Aesthetics.
