In my experience, most of the disappearing female profiles has more to do with the fact that they're fake accounts made up to harvest e-mail addresses for spamming purposes. They make a friend request and ask to get to know you better over e-mail, which is how they get your address.

I think myspace is ugly in every conceivable way. I'm grateful for what it's done for independent artists, but I really think they ought to liberate people's pages from their format and those damn sponsors that they choose. Like Mate 1, or whatever the hell it is. If I wanted to open a porno site, I would. I just want a way to keep track of friends, and for my purposes, Facebook is infinitely superior to Myspace.

Yeah myspace is a huge drag. I use it only for music-related stuff...kinda a necessity these days. :lol:

I now use myspace primarily to get music news and discover new artists. I have dated a few girls that I've met off there and the results were all disasterous. You'd think I'd learn my lesson. :lol:

Oh, and those spam-webcam girls piss me off beyond belief!
