IMO twice as beautifull as the original. The music has the right version is great but this one just has a beautifull cold feel to it that I really dig.

I always thought that everything that is so good about the Music version is absent from the Peel version..
Personally I think the Peel version is rubbish... but I'd be interested in hearing version 2

i totally agree, i thought i was by myself on this. it has that icy feeling to it, with the lead being harmonized in to fourths, or is it fifths? i can't tell.

Yeah, V3 is good...I think my heart rests with Olson off MHTR though..its too ingrained..heh. But the Peel version is hep too..its a fuzzed out masterpiece? Or something.

V3 is great, I think its definitely one of BoC's saddest songs. I always get this strong longing feeling from it. Gotta love those heavy synths.

the melodies in both of the olsons sound similar to kid for today and under the coke sign. they're in a different key but the timing, or rises and drops seem to be pretty close. anyone else notice that? also, the vocal sample in version 3 is the same one used in the dirty great marble remix.

Whenever I listen to Olson V3 I have to switch it back to Olson MHTRTC, so I can be like, oooo, wow, eeeee, ahhhh the difference of the mixes.

damn right! that's a great tune. sums up the countryside vibe perfectly for me. the only other place where you'll hear synths like these is in daydreams.
