Check out this documentary on Aleistar Crowley from the 'masters of darkness' series. he was well fucked up. practiced magic with the golden dawn (both W.B.Yates and Bram Stoker were members) before going out on his own and pretty much taking it well over the edge. well worth a watch. it was on channel 4 a couple of years ago, so some of you may remember it.

most of his original writings including "the book of the law" are housed at the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas here in Austin.
