Considerable information capable of informing decisions and guiding actions is perceived even when observers do not experience any awareness of perceiving.

I'm not a big fan of the 'Alpha Rainbow' cover... However (and this is probably going to be considered blasphemous) I actually think that your 'Trails' cover is an IMPROVEMENT over the original!
I have always thought of the original 'Trails' as an idea for a track that never came into full fruition (as far as we know) and this cover is to me one of the ways it could have gone were BoC to spend more time with it. Awesome job man!

*Update*
Grim on Mbient - Mans Roygbiv
Olsen - Laconic Flow Mix
Over the Horizon Radar - Sinebag Remix
Roygbiv - Cardamar Remix
Roygbiv - 8 Bit Remix
Olson (remix by Ciaran Byrne)
Alpha Rainbow (robotanalysis remix)
Trials (robotanalysis remix)
I really enjoyed the Alpha Rainbow remix!
It's amazing how some can rearrange a song completely, just like the Olson remix by Ciaran Byrne. Hats off!

Howdy. Trails was never released, but there are two places where it's popped up:kozmikoid wrote:Hi robotanalysis,
Just downloaded the mixes, they sound good to me.
I'm just wondering what the track 'Trails' is off. I can't find a record of it in the discography.
Cheers, kozmikoid.
1) Background website clip during the late 90s.
2) One of the songs for the flash website before/after the Geogaddi release. All those files are available at the yahoo boc group, too!
I tracked down the live Sound Tribe Sector 9 cover of ROYGBIV I had read about a few months ago. I guess their some kind of Jam Band. The cover is not stellar, but interesting to hear. I found the track at www.archive.org, which is public domain, so I figure its okay.gfresh wrote:Yes, thank you also for the links. Olsen and OTHR are some of my favs, and its fun to hear other interps.
Ever hear of any BoC "covers?" I read about a show in Colorado where a band called Sound Tribe Sector 9 or something did a cover of ROYGBIV. Haven't heard of them or the live track, but I bet it'd be interesting.
Here's a link to that concert

Or I posted the MP3

Seems like I skipped right through this thread... didn't I already say somewhere that the WORST mash-up is that one by "TBH" adding vocals to Hey Saturday Sun and Dayvan Cowboy?
And it also seems like my download collection went backwards. It's rather I counted wrong or else I have lost 1 track.
