I actually have REAL news about the new BOC album

Hi my name is Streamrunner and I just wanted to let you know that I have an actual legitimate connection to get all the inside info on BOC. You see, I met this guy at the airport and I saw he was playing "BOC" on his ipod so we started talking. Anyway he talked about how he had seen the band in concert many times and that he had friends that new the band personally and I got super excited until I realized that BOC meant "Blue Oyster Cult" to him. so struck out on that one but I still got the guy's number and it turns out that his neighbor got their dog from a breeder in Scotland named "Mikey Sandison". On top of that, get this - his neigher drives an '84 Pontiac. Its like I was in a dream or something so I met his neighbor and it turns out his name is Oscar. I think he must have had pink-eye or something because one of his eyes was bloodshot. Well -more like red-eye. Anyway we talked and it turns out this guys cousin went to school with Mike and Marcus and his cousin gets the inside scoop on everything, even when Mike and Marcus take shit. So anyway I got to hear all of this badass stuff about them. So the new album is coming out in 2 weeks. I'm sure of it. And you should believe me. Because no one has ever lied about this before. And people on this board aren't suckers for the same joke over and over again at all. I mean, just because EVERY thread claiming to have info on a new album gets 10 times the amount of views of any other thread doesn't mean anything. So believe me because I'm sure you know this time its different, I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY have new information.

Information is a nebulous concept. It's a facile argument to suggest that anything other than official notifications on the BOC or Warp sites is worthless. Joyrex is a reputable source of information therefore the information content is above the average.
