Have you been before? I've only been once but it's a beautiful city. My mate goes up every so often for work training.

I'm sure it'll be of greater benefit if you could give me the correct spelling and pronunciation of the word 'town'

another edinburger here.

worth a visit here during the festival (end of july, begining of august), lots of good cultural thangs going on, long summer nights, and views over the pentland hills, washed down with late night drinking.

Good call re the festival. Magners in the sunshine at the Pleasance... brilliant!

Where in town are you?

I'd like to go to the festival more thoroughly... also the film festival, theres always at least 20-odd films i want to see on. Its so expensive though, specially at that time of year! Finding somewhere to stay is pretty bad too.

We usually content ourselves by watching the end-of-festival fireworks from the top of the east lomond at night. They're about 15 miles away  . Anyway, its nice to be up a mountain on a summers night.

so, in conclusion, scotland is quality.

I can't believe you Scottish BoC fans... You live, like, three feet away from the Sandisons! If I were you I'd totally stalk them.

Ha ha! I was tempted to book Peter Iain Campbell as my wedding photographer, but didn't think the Mrs would be too happy with me running around after him asking when the last time he saw Mike & Marcus was!
