Did Old Tunes Ever Get Posted?

Post by thedisavowed »

I remember a while back there was some discussion about posting Old Tunes Vol. 1 somewhere.

Did that ever happen?

I'm having a devil of a time getting that back....

Yeah for some reason I can't browse you D4VERD4NN. Do I have to get some kind of authorization?

My Soulseek name is the same as my Twoism one: thedisavowed

Yeah, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on Old Tunes 1 myself. We are talking about Old Tunes Vol 1, right? Not A Few Old Tunes?

Also, how do you browse search for users on Soulseek? I never could figure that out.

Hi everyone,

I'm new 'round here, nice place. Great to see so many other BOC fans.

nlogax, as regards Old Tunes, I messaged Fredd-E the other day about getting hold of Old Tunes because I've been unable to get hold of them. I have A Few Old Tunes Vol 1 & 2 but I've researched over at Fredd-E's BOC site and noticed that Old Tunes is a different set of tracks.

If you could please let me know the place where you're gonna upload them I'd be most grateful.

Many thanks, kozmikoid.

Soulseek, Soulseek, Soulseek... I'm on Soulseek 16 hours a day, 7 days a week (can't do more)... But nobody's interested in my Old Tunes (they prefer to download "How to belly dance for your husband" or the "Diabolik" soundtrack...).
Just made a quick search 5 minutes ago, at least 3 other soulseekers are sharing this... Easier to get than the real Campfire Headphase by the way.

Or post this question again, but this time using the magic word, the one that begins with the letter "p" (no, it's not "pizza")

DocterOrlof, what's your Soulseek name? Whenever I search for Old Tunes, I never get any results, not even greyed out ones.

Only the "Old Tunes vol.1" are still on my computer. "Old tunes vol.1", "Old tunes vol.2" and "A few old tunes" have been posted here early december, that's how I got them (and by the way I never said thanks to anyone  ). There are requests here only for the vol.1 (mostly Side A), so I kept this one.
Remember, if you can't browse my files on Soulseek, if the download queue is too long, I'll be online tomorrow, after tomorrow etc etc... And "Old tunes vol." will stay on my computer till it crashes... 8)

But if someone could upload the complete "Closes" or the REAL "Hooper Bay" (or the REAL "Acid Memories"), it would be a miracle (on Soulseek these last two are obvious fake).... So there is one last solution: put tons of Fake "Old tunes" on E-Bay. When the BoC brothers will see that, they'll have to re-release the tapes like they did with "Twoism" a few years ago...

DocteurOrlof, Old Tunes Vol 1 is just great, certainly better than having no Old Tunes. It's great that you've left it on to share with other fans.

Incidentally, I have one track off Hooper Bay called Circle (2:34, should be 2:38 so could be genuine) and Seward Leaf (1:12 but should be 7:02, probably a fragment or a fake). I have a couple of fakes too Trillions (3:31) and Treeline (1:12)

What your username on SoulSeek please?

Bye, kozmikoid.

Wow acpigeon, that's pretty awesome. I'll have a look. This is crazy man, I have a report to finish, it's 3:40 am and I'm looking for long lost BOC tracks, I must be losing the plot!

Update: acpigeon, thank you so much. I have seen the tracks and I'm downloading the first one now. This is just great! I'm gonna have to stay up and finish this report and get no sleep at this rate. Still, it'll definitely be worth it when I sit down with these new tracks.

If anyone wants to lift them from me by all means do. I'll leave them on for others to get. My username on SoulSeek is kozmikoid.

I never even new about SoulSeek till yesterday, another reason to be glad I joined this forum

Hey Boards of Canada's Aquarius has just come on Soma FM!! Weird shit!! (Soma FM Groove Salad is a very cool internet radio station that plays chilled vibes, http://somafm.com/ select Groove Salad) This is the first time I've ever heard BOC on the radio. Sad I know. Mind you, I'm always hearing their stuff on TV in documentaries.

Oh yeah DocteurOrlof, I know your SoulSeek name now, it was quite obvious.

Cheers, kozmikoid.
