Should I pick this poor bastard's statement apart, or should I simply reply by asking just what the fuck does any of this have to do with Boards of Canada? Let's take a vote!loga (xn) = n loga x wrote:Well you make me angry, people who aren't on a message board about BoC shouldn't be allowed one? That's pathetic, not everyone has access to a computer, or has the time or knowlege. I didn't up untill a while ago when I started my new job, and I obviously shouldn't even be on here, I should be working. I don't know what BoCers are? but if that means someone that likes BoC, not every BoC fan is going to have access to the internet, grow up! It's so difficult trying to obtain BoC stuff, or satisfy your interests about them if you don't have it. So for anyone without the internet, it's a lot harder to be a BoC fan. And that deserves respect! NOT OH YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE A KALIEDOSCOPE BECAUSE YOUR NOT ON A MESSAGE BOARD!Cupz wrote:Agreed...Only BoCers schould be aloud to have 1....zander two wrote:You know, it's a damn shame that the great and powerful Fredd-E doesn't have a kaleidoscope, while there's some yutz out there, who isn't even on a message board (of canada) that does have one. Considerable information capable of informing decisions and guiding actions is perceived even when observers do not experience any awareness of perceiving.

Well.. I guess "SARCASIM" must be different in the US, I apologize, allow me to elaborate as to why I was so grossly mistaken. You see in the UK "SARCASIM" doesn’t really work if it’s written down as there is no way of telling that the ‘super intelligent, quick witted enough to be sarcastic on a message board person’ is actually being sarcastic. Obviously I’m not as intelligent as you, as I was of the understanding that unless you write down ‘the following is a sarcastic remark’ or ‘I was being sarcastic’ it was only possible to tell through body language, tone of voice, or facial expression. Clearly your superior humor is above me, and so allow me to apologize again. England is obviously still in the dark ages, compared with America, we have a saying as follows ‘sarcasm is the lowest from of wit’ yet the lowest from of wit quotation doesn't appear in Penguin Dictionary of Quotations or the Modern Quotations nor in the Oxford dictionary. I now humble my self to you publicly. I have made a mental memo for future reference, not to question anything else that you may say. As I have only a vague idea on how this “SARCASM” thing works, particularly on a message board(s of Canada) < by the way, putting “s of Canada” after “message board”…. hilarious, simply hilarious, I wouldn’t have thought of that. Which is just another example of how much further ahead you are in the expertise of “SARCASM” … genius.Cupz wrote:I could not say it better myselfsteve-o wrote:Another perfect example of someone who does not understand the word "SARCASIM". Relax, really. No one is excluding you because you don't have readily available internet access.

Thank you for your understanding.....We now return to our regularly scheduled program.....loga (xn) = n loga x wrote:Well.. In an effort to clear things up, and hopefully end this bullshit once and for all, allow me to attempt to restate my original point. All I was trying to say was that after all Fredd-E has done for the BoC fan community, he deserves to be one of the lucky few to possess one of the rarest of BoC items. A lot of us "Obsessive Freaks," and "Crazy Geogadders" have Fredd-E (as well as David AC) to credit for fostering our obsession with our favorite band. If you have a problem with that, you are simply proving my point in my original post. Thank you.
