I've seen the work of David Firth before, he makes some freaky cartoons. There's also a very sick cartoon with the Milkman track by Aphex Twin.

It's pretty funny how 'Beware the Friendly Stranger' shows up on p2p programs as 'Salad Fingers Theme'.

Here is another Firth 'toon. This one is called 'Scribbler' and uses 'Over the Horizon Radar'.

I like the one that uses Aphex's ''Rhubarb" too. Such a sad track that illustrates Salad Fingers desolate landscape and broken down old shack.

I not trying to be the "cool boccer" or something...but I really think he mis uses BoC

BoC is what you make out of it. There is no guideline of how BoC music should be used or received.

i have to say that i agree with cupz on this one.
i know music is there to be interpretated however the listener sees fit
but the cartoon is very bleak and sometimes nausiating, for me anyway.
hearing the music over visuals like this can have a lasting effect and leave a bitter
aftertaste when listening to 'beware...' again. obvious images pop into your head when they should be
glossed or transparent fading in and out of eachother, and not focusing on one individual picture (or a wacky flash movie)

BOC are just 2 guys who make great music, there are 2 many groupies on this twoism forum who think that the music of BOC is a sacred place :!:

you have a point dan, ppl do tend to take BoC's music too sriously, myself included.
but for me BoC's music 'is' a sacred place, just like you said. ppl can post they're life away
trying to write replies to posts that in they're opinion are FAR more intelligent than the last persons,
but it's whatever the fuck you want it to be, i'm just watching the days go by on this eternal ship of fools (which is a euphamism for 'life' and not the twoism community, rest assured) I dont know about anyone else, but I change my mind 1,000,000 times a day... and right now i'm not particularly feelin salad fingers.

I can see good points in both opinions, but I think the music serves the cartoon well. It is bleak yes, but since when has Boc been all about shiny happy things? :shock:

BoC's music is never really that obvious though, do you know what i mean? salad fingers is very
blatant fucked up-ness.
