It's not that bad of a loss, I thought Summer Make Good was a very weak record with lots of potential... the voice ruined it for me.

Wow... I'm listening to Blessed Brambles right now... It's awesome.
This record might be as good as Yesterday was Dramatic - Today is OK.
I particularly like how the vocals take the back seat somewhat, and the instruments are at the top. Mum can make some beautiful instrumentals...

Blessed brambles, dancing behind my eyelids, They made frogs smoke till' they exploded, marmalade fires,school song misfortune, all splendid mum songs. The new turn of vocals done is definitely a breathe of fresh mum-like air. I Knew the guy ( orvar or whatever the hell ? ) could sing all along, I love the duet. The beats are even more complex and the samples are more and more organic. It's definitely one of the better mum records and we NEEDED it after summer make good. One obvious loss is the amazing live drumming summer make good had to offer and I know they do good job with mixing their sequenced beats and real drumming in. But this record seems strongly electronic but It's all gravy with me.

I can dig it.

I'm so glad that the removal of the twins didn't cause them to "loose" their sound. This album is absolutely wonderful!
