In a nod to the vinyl that Andy and I grew up listening to, we're releasing it for download as two sides. This is Side One.

Thanks. The original photograph is by a guy called Mike Baker. Andy found it when he was browsing the web for inspiration, and the picture struck a chord with both of us.

The coverart goes together with the music very well. I love this album!
The balance between ambient sounds and the beat is just perfect!

sounds pretty solid, chaps. i like, i like. lovin' 'smell of music', strong melodies, nice structure. what's the the vocal sample in there? are you guys still using reason?

All Reason on this one. The 'Smell of Music' samples are from a radio documentary on synaesthesia. Structurally I think we borrow more from rock and pop than dance. I think of all our tracks as songs. I've always loved the pacing of a good pop song, but with primarily electronic textures.
