Could easily be bullshit, as I can't find info anywhere else... But have a look.

Re: BoC performing live in October?
doubt it, there doesn't seem to be much info backing it up. just a flyer that could have been done by anyone... although, if it does turn out to be real, i'll fork out whatever it takes to get a ticket.Goiter Sanchez wrote:Could easily be bullshit, as I can't find info anywhere else... Bring something to record with. Just in case.Mexicola wrote:Hmmm. Coventry is about 3 hours drive from me. It's a Sunday. I have friends in Coventry I've not seen in ages anyway. I might just take a wander up anyway and see what happens. Nothing to lose and you never know....

Looks fishy, it's a generic template for all their concerts, it's not like this is a special flyer for this one. Even if it is legitimate I doubt it would be a one-off for a random show like this. Most of BoC's shows have been in support of their labels, label-mates, or for larger festivals.
(Also, I hope it's bs because it'd be really expensive to fly in from Australia and I'm not sitting on a mad pile of dough at the moment...)

The only thing that sticks in my mind is that stuff that's been floating about on WATMM from Joyrex of late. Something appears to be up, but I'm just not convinced it includes live shows (sadly). Like I said earlier, I have alot of friends in Coventry that I've not seen in a while. I might wander up anyway and take them for a sneaky pint in the bar and see what happens.Moebius wrote:Looks fishy, it's a generic template for all their concerts, it's not like this is a special flyer for this one. So if - IF! - this turns out to be something, I'll be sure and let you all know. Of course, when the square root of fuck-all happens I'll pretend they did a 3 hour set complete with visuals and then we all drove out into West Midlands countryside and danced around a bonfire whilst a (red) moon painted the sky....or something.
I wish I could get a dime for as many times I've seen on the net that someone knows someone who works at Warp. Even better that they know a member of the Hexagon Sun. lolMexicola wrote:Yeah, it's bollocks. I mailed the guy who posted the original ad and asked who his source was. Got some bullshit story about how his mate works for Warp, blah, blah, blah. I guess I just WANT this to be true. Ah, y'know how it is....
