Did anyone know before?

Post by Hi Scores Boards »

Did anyone know beforehand that Marcus and Mike were actually brothers?
I didn't realise that. When I look at a few pics now I see a similarity.
It was a bit of a suprise, but a happy one nonetheless!!

I remember once or two someone came out from the woodworks somewhere and said they were brothers, but there was never any evidence or more info provided.

they have admitted this in interviews. i kind of always assumed it was obvious anyway. that they grew up together in canada and scotland was kind of a give away.

Actually, I had assumed they were brothers until I found out that before the interview, they had never mentioned it. Guess I was right.

Apparently they didn't mention it to avoid comparsons with Orbital.
I can understand that.
Even though they sound completely different. Orbital were huge when Music has the right came out and most journalists are lazy when it comes to electronic music.

They must get on eachothers tits though. Growing up together and then working so closely.

I wondered this too. It seems quite obvious that they are brothers now, but then I suppose it would.

it's actually pretty funny, because in the photograph of them sitting beside the bonfire (circa geogaddi) marcus is a lot closer to the camera, and is looking into it, while mike has a wooly hat on, farther away, looking upwards; but if you look through the images on fredde's pages, there's another photograph that seems to be from the exact same night and location; but in this photograph (obviously taken just before the better known shot) the brothers are sat beside eachother, both wearing wolly hats and both looking into the camera. i can just picture them with the photographer, looking at the preview in the SLR saying 'ach, it's a bit obvious, mike, what do you think?' 'totally, marcus. you can definitely tell.'

For the longest time I looked at that campfire pic and I thought that it was Mike who was closest to the camera, with marcus in the background!! :?
then after looking for the umpteeenth time I realised it was Marcus!!
I thought to myself, they really are brothers arent they!!!
(and also what a plonker for not realising  )

It is... I didn't want to have to tell you like this. As we speak, George W. Bush is constructing the worlds largest, tallest and ... the larget mountain in the whole world! people have gathered up a good amount of unopened bottled water and are currently pouring them out into a man made canal. The end receiver is pouring that water into new bottles that say, "Bottled Water Makes You Want More" Then it gets shipped off to Japan and tested every 5 minutes for 5 days. Then it get's shipped to local grocery stores around the world.
