IF YOU MET ANOTHER BOCCER

Post by Vordhosbn »

I have noticed there are quite allot of BoC fans on this boards who are like 13-18. We must be spread throughout the world great distances apart...

I know people my age who like BoC, but seem to have no passion for it at all. I found this guy who had like all of BoC's albums, and I'm like HOLY SHIT! And I try to go into a deep discussion about the albums and the music and such, and hes just not really into it. (it ends up he just pirated all the albums and the only thing he had to comment on Geogaddi was "yeah, thats the sickest ambient album ever."

I also have gotten several friends into BoC. But to meet someone who was just as crazed as me, it would be AWESOME... Because, I fantasize about having like an awesome bonfire out in the middle of nowhere and just playing BoC and other cool music, and Its entirely possible. But then, if I did it with people who don't like BoC, It would just be me, enjoying myself, while the rest of the people just wish they were listening to something else.

Well it was truthfully great with my one friend, he loved BoC as much as me, so we had great times listening to it. I fondly remember listening to Geogaddi while watching old japanese movie with the sound off  ... But alas, I have moved away from him...

What would you do if you met a fellow Boccer, or do you have friends that are as crazy about BoC as you? If so, what kinda stuff do you do while listenin?
Black then White are all I see in my infancy...Red and Yellow then came to me, reachin' out to me, lets me see...

i suggest unofficial redmoon parties. let's stop all this "hey BoC left a cryptic message for us let's go find 'em" bullcrap and organize our own bonfire party. i'll bring my boombox, but if any among you have an even bigger, squarer, ghettoer blaster than mine (entirely likely) please supply it instead.

Well my friend is into them, but he listens to so much other stuff. We don't hang out much anymore, because he's been working two jobs and lives about 45 minutes from me. I think I like BoC more than he does though.

My house would be perfect for this..seeing as how all I did every weekend this summer was have campfire parties - with loudly blared BoC, and lots o' mind-altering substances. Its the perfect setting..in a beautiful place out in the country.. :P

Sadly not all my friends are boc fans...ahahah. But yeah...someone organize this party.
The preparation for a dive is always a tense time.

replace "uk" with "holland" (where we can get mind-altering things with no trouble) , and pix's with "full motion Video" and it'd be the best idea ever

As far as I know, not a single person at my Highschool has heard of BoC or has any interest in anything outside radio music. :(

I try not to talk music with my friends, I don't like their taste and they don't know mine.

You guys make me feel old! If someone were to throw a Redmoon type of party in the woods somewhere around upstate NY, I'd probably be into it if most of the people were in their 20s.

I think that's true. I'm 25.

Yeah, the geographical disparity here is a bit depressing. I'd love to meet some of the folks on this board.

Forest parties are the best kind of parties. In quiet places where the moss grows green. I've been celebrating Walpurgis night for years now. Also when certain mushrooms ripen in the woods. Good times, good times. We're camping at beaver's on Saturday.

I've been into the ISB lately, they're very autumnal.

I would love to go to a boc-get-together but..
1) i have no money to fly.
2) i am really shy.
and 3) drugs make me cry.

yes, those are forced rhymes.
