“The Dumb are Mostly Intrigued by the Drum”

Theres tons of other things going on in this beautiful instrumental laid by BOC than those amazing drums.

Please listen, and the scary thing is that its grower.

Hehe.. is that a Wu quote. Brilliant.

Yep, great remix. I'm loving it. As somebody mentioned before though the anticon related nerd hop isn't bad but it can sort of grate sometimes. Sometimes I get the feeling that with the lyrics tha are trying too hard. There can be a beauty in treating lyrics as throwaway and not trying to cram too much in.

BOC's clouddead and beck remixes were sort of different from TCH so I'm thinking it mightn't necessarilly be a pointer for how a new record may sound. Who knows.

Well, I wouldn't say it's the best BoC song ever. (I am still deeply in love with 'Everything you do is a balloon' for that matter)
But it IS a great song. I do not love the vocal, (well, its ok) but the rest blows me away. And like many of you said- THAT wonderful drum ending, oh gee.

Each time the smallest bit of their work comes out, I'll get this indescribable psychedelic feeling.
By the way- I am very interested how this song will do with some Semilanceatas. :)

Best wishes,
oliver
May the force be with you!
