NOW THIS IS WEIRD!

I never did anything while listening to BoC, ('cept get completely wired and do interpretive dancing to it)

But I think BoC induced a flashback in me. IT WAS FREAKY!!! I was lying in bed, listening to Open the Light, then my conciousness got really weird and I had all these vivid hallucinations, like this black and white tunnel that was shimmering and had my friends dancing in it.

It got even weirder when happy cycling came on, and I hear this weird imaginary noise that sounded like drilling or sawing and I thought there was someone with a chainsaw behind me!!

And then when the nice part of Happy Cycling came on, I slowly drifted to sleep, all while watching closed-eye TV.

Is this just a coincidence or did you make your profile picture based on this hallucination? haha very similar

Is the tripping better with acid or mushrooms? Mushrooms are safer aren't they? Just curious.

I think everyone is different - for me, shrooms feel more chaotic and unpredictable, whereas with acid there is a lot going on visually/mentally, but I find it easier to express myself coherently on them. It's hard to explain.

Morning Glory Seeds?

They are an easy to get psychedelic containing the chemical LSA, very similar to LSD, 'cept its sort of a depressant. Anyways, its very hard to get the right effect out of it, but I'd say its a pretty cool legal alternative to some psychedelics. Anyone here ever done it?

You need to extract the LSA from the morning glory seeds. The seeds are generally sold with a coating over them to induce sickness and reduce their effectiveness. There's methods on the internet that explain how to remove the coating, but I personally don't think its worth your while, nothing beats actual LSD.

I want to try LSD too But I don't know man who can deliver me. These years removed almost all my contacts in this sphere.

I can't remember exactly if I was high when I heard BoC for first time, but I am almost 100% sure(at that time I was almost 100% of time high). It was Sixtyten and it was damn gooood!

It's not very difficult to find some Psilocybes on your own. (Paul Stamets book 'Psilocybe Musshrooms' is a great resource)

I'll prefer in EVERY way mushrooms. They are natural while LSD is semi-synthetic. Guess why they call it Acid?
And it's more than chemistry- every different Psilocybe mushroom has it's own 'personality'. I have grown lots of different psilocybes and they all have their own different feeling when tripping with them.

I am actually listening to the old tunes mp3s and asking myself how BoCs music might feel with Salvia. I normally listen to Air (Talkie Walkie) or Jean Michel Jarres Oxygene/Equinoxe.
I really have to try it-
BoCs music give me this 'childhood experience' kind of feeling and when tripping with Salvia Divinorum I always have a strange vision of my childhood which I can't explain.

I felt like aliens were coming back to pick us up
but then again, I have always felt like boc is music made by beings from out of earth.
Conclusion: Music and salvia very interesting, the music just loses its meaning really, becomes the trip, try it out.

I did once, with 15x salvia, it was hydro actually, but the effects of the salvia were completely lost. If you want the salvia experience, you should just try that alone.
One piece of advice, start off with something like 15x, haha. That stuff is really intense, but really fun, its almost like experiencing an ego loss (60x).

the first time i ever heard boards of canada i was taking large doses of ketamine.
at the time a lot of our friends were trying just about anything we could get our hands on. after reading some very convincing literature on the subject from john. c lilly we were all pretty excited about the trip. the boards of canada experience was actually the second time our group of friends, around 20 to 30, had decided to get together for a mass trip. of the things present i had taken about four caps of mushrooms earlier in the night, but it's hard to tell we were using a food processor and gel caps to take them in the form of pills. next, a hit or two of ecstasy, and bumped along through out the night with ketamine. ketamine has the consistency of what you would imagine fairy dust would be like. you have to make sure not to breathe out too hard as it's lifted to your nose otherwise you'll lose it all over the place. anyways, the night ended with just the closer of our friends convening in one room.

everybody in the room had been friends for a long time, which i think really added to the experience. maybe it was the mix of drugs and how they were influencing each other, but it ended up being a very out of body experience for everyone in the room. ketamine IS a dissociative so that isn't too far removed from predictions anyway. it didn't matter we were in a room to me. the room's walls appeared as though they were miles away at this point. the entire room became completely distorted, and for me it felt as though time was being stretched out or stopping entirely. it was already getting really late so we all took a couple of extra couple of lines of k, turned the lights out, and that's when my friend josh put on the campfire headphase. i don't think at the time he was even that familiar with boards, but actually his friend, a 40 something software developer, that initially gave him the k recommended the album to him. it's hard to describe the next couple of hours, because of the nature of the experience. i remember lying on the bed and slowly the blankets around me feeling as though they were flowing around me, and then from there i felt like i was in this giant river of blankets/liquids. a heavy dose of k for me seemed as though reality was literally melting around me. from there it's really hard to describe an experience that seemed entirely out of body. it just felt as though i was floating through infinite space, and the campfire headphase seemed to be the perfect soundtrack for it. i had never heard boards before, and was now experiencing the campfire headphase, very loudly, in a completely dark room with very close friends who were all feeling very out of body. to be honest, i don't think anybody had heard boards before, except for josh who i think said he had only listened to the album once before that experience. we all woke up the next day, felt much closer, and all agreed it was one of the best trips we'd ever had. out of that group i think i'm the only one that developed a full on infatuation with the band, but most of the other people myself included were listening to a lot of sixeties music at the time. so it was a completely different experience for a kid who spent most of his time blasting the sonics, wailers, and thirteenth floor elevators from his stereo. since then, i've gone from playing in garage bands to exploring a very different approach to the way i'm writing and recording my music now.

Yeah, I know it, too.
And I also feel very gratefull for being alive, which I unfortunatelly tend to forget about in day-to-day life. Everything is special, to be alive is a wonder -the entheogenic plants only open our mind to see more through it- but it's there all the time.

About Salvia. I found it more pleasant to use the 5X or max 10X enhanced leaves. I grow my own Salvias and extract the Salvinorin also myself, so for me it's possible to use pure crystals. But this isn't the way I want it- it's to easy to overdose, which leaves me confused after the experience. and I really want to remember what I have seen.

Also I am interested in some BoC meskalin experience...


But this K sniffer story is way out of my range. I don't do synthetic stuff, only plants.

Perhaps he should try Ayahuasca on that matter...
