I always need more feedback, so if you want to comment, PLEASE DO!!
I'm keeping all of it in this thread as to not clutter up the board everytime I make a track, so when there's a new post by me, it's most likely me updating with a new track or news about what I'm doing.

And now all the collections of tracks all in one go so one doesn't have to search through to find 'em.

Had a good listen earlier, for a 15 year old you show really good vision and certainly have a good ear for a melody. The stand-out track for me was Barramundi, lots of variety and very interesting and intelligent melodies, good work and keep at it because you have a great deal of ideas and an interesting sound!

Sidewinder was quite hilarious, if you ask me. It was just so simple, but reminded me of old video games.

I kind of liked Get to da Choppa, it was quite catchy in it's lo-fi-ness

Plastic Bag was enjoyable, kind of reminded me of Freddy Fish or something LOL

Barramundi, now we have an interesting track. I was actually really intrigued throughout the whole thing, there was lots of interesting textures recurring here and there. This style is definitely where your strong point is. Damn good track, seriously. Loved it.

DigDug was another fun track, just so nintendo-ish

Footprints in the Snow was interesting, but the melodies were a bit over emphasized, if you know what I mean. I actually ended up liking it in the end.

Paper Wheel was kind of repetitive...

The Bell Tower, another interesting piece texture wise. I really like what you sample, those bell noises were kind of strange and the general atmosphere of the track was quite interesting.

I found the imagery in my head for rabbits funny

Memory Collector was one that I felt let down on. I really liked how you started, but the hellishly simple melody you threw in just killed it for me. I was hoping you might just have this track centered all around the percussion like Barramundi.

White Dwarf was fine with me, when I first heard it I thought of Dominos from SAWII but then as the track goes on you actually construct a nice melody

Out of Order, I loved how crisp, yet lo-fi this one was. Its just like in how old games all the sound ends up with that crazy fuzz over it. I really liked this one, perfect choice melody wise.

Box was a nice way to end this strange collection of tracks. I loved this.

I'm actually quite surprised at my reaction to this. After hearing the first track I thought this might just be the average crap, but there's something oddly mysterious about this (probably the production, lol, how did you end up having all that fuzz?) and I actually ended up really liking how lo-fi it was.

And I have some suggestions. I really think your style has a lot of potential, and I can see it developing into something altogether awesome. You try on some tracks to create melodies with saws and sines and stuff, and it just sort of fails. But when you use percussive sound to make melodies then it really works. If you pursue this style of percussive based tracks, then I can see what you make developing greatly. Tracks like Barramundi were actually quite amazing to me, they really reminded me of Autechre, so be proud!

All I can say is, REFINE. Hone your skills, which you obviously have, to make these polished to near-perfection.

Thanks for sharing these though. Would you mind if sometime I remixed one of these tracks and sent it to you?

Pretty much concur with everything you said. I noticed the fuzziness of the tracks too, but I didn't see it as a particularly bad thing...it adds character! I must admit though I would really like to hear a cleaner version of Barramundi, with a little tidier production that track could be very very good! It sounds dark and techy, I like that!

Oh man, I can't thank you guys enough. I didn't think I'd get such nice feedback. I'm very shy about things like showing my music taste to people, and I was even more shy about showing stuff that I made to people I barely know. But I knew I receive positive feedback, or at least constructive criticism from you guys.
I pick up lots of influences from other music and put them into my own music, for example Barramundi was made after listening to Animal Collective's Strawberry Jam for about 3 hours non-stop, and I had inspiration to create a cheesy dance track (DigDug) after listening to a lot of Luke Vibert.
And your question on the fuzziness, I actually record through Sound Recorder which picks up the fuzz, and then convert the wav files to mp3, very very simple.

Oh, and Vord, I'd be honoured if you remixed a track of mine! This truly is one of the best days of my life!

How can you say that you can't play any instruments!? Your music is awesome. I haven't finished the album all the way through yet, but it is very good so far.

I'm still shocked at how many people there are on Twoism, with their own music they've created. Telepath kid, you should submit something for OOT2.

Musically it's really not bad. I would just try and mix it a little more meticulously, and use some less static sounding drum sounds.
It's MUCH better than what most of us were making at 15.

zomg thnx.

And yeah, these are put together rather quickly, most of them just under a few hours. I'm not the most fussy music producer ever. Just a few drum bits thrown together was a simple melody+bassline will do me just fine.

brilliant..i love the hiss

never do digdug again
paperwheel overdrives...but the melody saves it..
white dwarf overdrives as well...fix it,,this song is sparce and quiet and i love it...
box is a great ender...

youre young so know this now...dont care about feedback from people whether its good or bad...take it in, thank you, yadda blah blah..and get back to work with no influence from peoples opinions...

looking forward to more songs.

hey i never got around to reviewing your album but i did check it out! i thought it was simple yet it didn't sound "easy" if you know what i mean. there were some pretty interesting things there but i can't really recall at the moment, keep it up

i think my favorite was "out of order"
