I saw them live. Their performance didn't disappoint me, but they were an hour late for their set, which sucked for me since the last train back to where i parked my car departed the station at 1am and Ae got started about 12:15 or 12:30 something like that. I forget exactly when, but it was such that I only got 30 to 45 minutes of Ae before I had to dash outside and catch the train.

And that's what I did when the rest of my class was at Senior prom that night. Oh, and I was with a guy who had a crush on me.

These track titles are way more like The Tuss/Analogue Bubblebath . Their old titles were more just weird words and less random numbers mixed with random letters, but "Paralel Suns" sounds almost as cool as "Echo the Sun".

Eh.. let's be honest.. senior prom sucks. I even had a gorgeous date who I got along with well and it STILL sucked and cost out the butt. I'd go to Autechre over Prom (late or not, with a date or not) every single time.

Yeah, no breaks with convention so far. I'm just hoping for some great experimental music - but maybe more experimental with a melodic component to it.....

Jeez, thats a lot of tracks for an Autechre record. A few vignettes perhaps.
The track titles are hilarious though. Like an electronic music spinal tap sort of thing. I know they mentioned before in one of the more recent interviews about the cryptic techy track titles.

Anyway, can't wait should be a blinder if the last couple are anything to go by. True masters.

could we please have some more ambient material (like Bronchusevenmx24 and Vletrmx21) and some stuff along the lines of the 2005-era live set on your new album please. And nothing too confield-crazy either. That would make me happy.

damn, if it is like a mixture of LP5's plasticky brightness and the cold strangeness of Confield I would love it.

My favorite Autechre album thus far is Chiastic Slide. Untilted takes second for LCC and Ipatial section. Can't wait to see what this new album will hold.

And I'd KILL to see them live.
