Why remix - instrumental?

I would love to hear this. Not that the lyrics are bad... just not family friendly. And I listen to this stuff in the car.

Sure, who wouldn't. But the lyrics are fucking unbelievable. It would not be the same, have the same power/effect IMO. I think its hot shit, though I'm sure tons of you will disagree :lol:

i think if they took the lyrics out they'd have to add something else in their stead or it would be too boring. there just isn't much going on in that song besides the lyrics.

The lyrics are very powerful, definitely not family friendly, but powerful and have artistic value. As much as I would love to have an instrumental version, I highly doubt one will be made, as the entire last third of the song is already. So why bother making an entirely instrumental version? We can only have our shred of hope that they will.
I really like their songs with lyrics though. The Broken Drum remix is to die for!

Totally agree with 747 Music and Harpoon Dodger.

I like the lyrics and its one of Whys better performences as a MC (or maybe its BOCs beat that make him sound better). Crazy song! I love it!

Broken drum, Two dogs dead and this oh my! bring some lyrics on the next album..please.

i quite enjoy the lyrics in all of their remixes... but im not sure how id feel about lyrics in their main music... i dont think id like it... yeah i know i wouldnt like it.

I don't know if this will help you. But there is a "clean" version of the track. It's the same but most explicit lyrics are replaced by some kind of scratching.

yea, same. i'm fond of the lyrics and i like the funky direction BoC took, i hope we see a little more funk in their music, they do neat things with it.
