Your First Listen

Post by Shadowshocker »

Where did you first hear BoC and which song was it?

My first listen was Dawn Chorus on David "Elsewhere's" video for Kollaboration (if you haven't seen him, you should check him out if you get a chance). Immediately after, I fell in love with BoC.
So where did you first hear BoC and which song?

Bought MHTRTC after reading a couple of great reviews and seeing the cover. Would have been Wildlife Analysis then. :)

My friend played me "Kid For Today" in an airport in Mexico, and when I got home, I bought IABPOITC.

Sigur Ros mentioned them in an interview, so I downloaded Geogaddi. It wasn't until it sat on my computer for a few months that it really clicked with me.

Chromakey Dreamcoat. I think I heard the song from Adult Swim. Actually, I had heard of BoC before that, from David Firth's Salad Fingers series, just hadn't bothered to pick them up until I heard Chromakey.

I'm a latecomer, I know, but still as obsessed as the best of ya.

I heard BOC for the first time unknowingly from Salad Fingers it was Beware the Friendly Stranger, and to this day I can't listen to that song because it was ruined by salad fingers. The first BOC i heard knowingly though was Aquarius from a friends recommendation.
