so i recently received a boc kaleidoscope for christmas. a very cool item. and the seller was nice enough to include some boc stickers and a little blue plastic hexagon chip, which was supposedly handed out at geogaddi listening parties.
earlier today, i was looking through it and to my surprise, i could see the date '1986' printed on the inside. this seemed odd, and after looking the kaleidscope over, i found "1986 C. Bennett Scopes" etched into the plastic on the top. after, i did a quick search and found this site.

so, if you own a boc kaleidoscope and wondered where it came from, it appears this is the place. a small custom kaleidoscope company. this seems like good news if you wanted to give out a unique item at a party or wedding, but it also seems like bad news, because someone could easily make alot of fake boc kaleidoscopes and sell them to desperate people on ebay.... or maybe not. i don't know how the company works.
also worth noting, they sell cheap little kaleidoscope stands for a few bucks
