sometimes i find myself listening to BoC and looking at things in a different way. ill see something so much more beautifully than i would without the music, and i often notice things that are usually taken for granted. name the things youve looked at or seen as so much more beautiful than usual because you were listening to the sandisons. name the tracks, too. and, if you want, full moments of time in which youve felt absolutely wonderful because of your surroundings in combination with the sounds. yeah im rambling. just go.

Once upon a time, as I looked out my window to witness a sunset, I grabbed a cd player filled with 'Trans Canada Highway' and headed for an open field on a hill. For the remaining time I listened to the cd while watching the sun set and while watching some kids play with a frisbee on the other side of some trees. Twas the first warm day in awhile and everything was finally coming alive again. Then as the cd came to an end, and the sun had brought about the darkness I headed home.

My friends and I were driving aimlessly and we were listening to MHtRtC and "Triangles and Rhombuses" was playing and right when it got louder, my car reached the top of the hill and my headlights along with streetlights lit up a serene surreal suburban street with crazy identical houses and it was so eery and weird that people lived so uniform-ily and there were no trees and very light landscaping. It was kind of beautiful though, as pretty as prefab houses and vinyl siding can get, a bunch of shapes themselves. We listened to the rest of the CD in a daze driving around looking for weird neighborhoods.
