unless somebidy has some real news...
...or something worthwhile to add to this subforum, can we stop posting shitty BoC topics? some of the threads are getting rediculous, and/or repetative.

my last 2 threads were:
discover what macquarie ridge is about... "this one i would even consider to be borderline jazzband, perhaps should even be in the playground. however, the topic had never been covered in this way before and i thought it might be an interesting bit of science for everyone."
and
reverse speech " this topic covered a doctors research into involuntary mind slips that we inadvertently reverse in our speech. again, could have possibly gone into the playground, but again, seems to be a prominent topic within BoC fans and the music."

you don't have to post your most recent threads man, i (as i'm sure most of the other originals on the board will) agree with what you're saying, fully.
tbh, i haven't posted a thread in this forum in months, not that i can remember anyway. think my last one was something to do with audio on their site; and although i love the band more than any other, i'm not waiting with bated breath for the new release. whenever it comes out, it comes out. when a date is posted on music70 or warp; or both; only then will i get excited, but until then, i'm chillin'.

jazzband is used to refer to something that has already been said a gazillion times or has been known for a long long time whilst someone is claiming it to be something new.turquoise70 wrote:not being a WATMM person (thank god thank god) could someone explain the term jazzband for those of us who don't like to knowingly expose ourselves to that place for any amount of time?
also, what Mexicola said

perhaps this just shows how important the boc wiki actually is. perhaps the boc subforum needs to be divided into 2 sections? one section for news, interview links, information (new and old), and questions that have not been already asked. and the other section for things like experiences with boc, why you like them, boc cereal, and threads like the ones i listed earlier etc. (perhaps called boc realated topics or something?) there is a lot of interesting information here in this subforum, however it seems like a daunting task to get to what you actually want.
