not overly impressed with what ive heard so far, but it is waaay too early to be judging.
literaly cant wait for the album :shock:

yes, Quaristice sounds like its gonna be a very intriguing album

AH! For some reason bleep.com already has the mp3s for sale. So....it's out there. They also have a special edition with an extra cd with 11 different versions of some songs and it comes in a tin case.

I heard it once now and I already know that Ae got a fan back. I wasn't all that fond of Draft 7.30 and Untilted so I thought Ae turned into another alley which certainly wasn't mine. Most of the time I need multiple listens to make up my mind. There is no exception this time besides knowing already that there are a few outstanding songs on this record and I'm sure there are more to follow soon!

It's not as consistent as Untilted but it's alright.
Some songs are just flat out boring, like this one. I feel like going to sleep.

Fun fact: I sometimes sleep with Autechre on!

I have never experienced a new album by them while being their fan. I might be a real Autechre fanboy, this album confuses me as hell. I think I am not used to a 20-track album by the band. Quaristice makes more sense on second listen, and I know I will get into it really soon.
