Bad as in not good or bad as in cool? It was just a board in class thing and now that I look at it again it is smooshed.

I don't know where everyone gets the idea that a grainy picture of the countryside is more 'BoC' than a grainy picture of like I dunno, an 8 track player with a big hexagon around it.
Where did the idea that nature alone is 'BoC' come from? I always thought BoC was about analogue electronic stuff and maths + a bit of nature....

imo, boc experienced outdoors is much more entertaining and enlightening than staring at a wall or a computer screen. i think it probably just has to do with each person's listening patterns or preferences.

Why not just take a grainy picture of a broken down 8-track reel to reel in the middle of a big field..
The preparation for a dive is always a tense time.

Here's a nice one I just made. Don't know who took the pic, but I had downloaded it at some point in the past.
Right click and choose View Image to see the full size version.

I've been meaning to post this, but I have no camera up here at school. I did just get a webcam though, so the picture sucks but at least you get the idea!

Not really BoC art as such but this is the front sleeve for an compilation out on my netlabel Monday 18th Feb.
'Inspired By Boards Of Canada : A Few New Tunes' (MZYKNi002)
The image is a photo of a photo that was part of a gallery of found images in a bar in Barcelona. Added the no-face smudge to the old fella's visage. The series of compilations will all have the same generic black fade plus an image and text on the front ... a compilation of tracks inspired by Delia Derbyshire comes out the same day. The next two for a June release will be Stanley Kubrick and Spacemen 3.

I admit to being enough of a BoC dork to have someone take this photo of me:
The location just seemed too perfect not to.
