I've just found two things out:

"Buckie High" is a real school in Scotland: http://www.buckiehigh.com/

"The Way You Show" is actually a remix of Kool + The Gang's "Celebration".

If you google for Scotland phone directories, you'll find some M. Sandison entries in the Pentland Hills area.

i would guess the particular M. Sandison we're concerned with is probably unlisted, given the bros. penchant for privacy.

..."the particular M. Sandison we're concerned with" makes it sound like i'm hunting them down, doesn't it?

Red Moss possibilities:

Conservation Site
An Incredibly old peat moss
A Scottish Wonder Tale of Myth and Legend

And yes the truck stop as well

edit: I like the wonder tale personally.

The thought of Mike and Marcus stopping for a can of Iru Bru and a Ginsters pastie kind of shatters the illusion.

(And for our non-UK members, here is our "International English" translation)

I happen to know they're both vegetarians, so it would be like a cheese pasty or something

most cheese pasties aren't really vegetarian as they contain rennet. the brothers told me this and thats why they eat onigiri instead.

But Najm, I think the crucial issue we need to know is this:

As Scotsmen, albeit ones that spent time in Canada during their formative years, do the brothers drink Iru-Bru (Made in Scotland from Girders TM)? As an ardent fan of the love-it-or-hate-it-soft-drink I'm sincerely hoping they both partake of the oraaaaaange-coloured sparkly beverage. We need to know I feel.....
