Check out and let me know what you think about Prime Canopy if you'd like. Kind of an odd track, looking for some feedback.

Thanks! :)

That was a pretty cool song, my only problem with it was the intro was kinda long in context to the full song length.

What programs do you use to make your music?

Yes, the intro was a tad long. I sat down intending to make just a short interlude track, and it spawned into a full-blown song...Ha.

I use Ableton Live for most of my tracks, with a few edits here and there with Audacity. Thanks for checking it out and giving some input. All the songs on Myspace are unreleased ones, so I plan on correcting a lot before they get released and all...

Sweet, I've never worked with ableton before, is it a good program?

It's the best thing since sliced bread. All of the pushing of it they do in their ads isn't a bunch of BS. It does everything I could ever want. I write on it, record on it, edit with it, remix with it, I can DJ with it, play live shows with live improv, etc. It's insane. Haha.

If you can't tell, I like it.

Definitely somethin i'd like to try out. In the past i would have downloaded it on Oink. I'm a Reason guy myself. Only trouble is i have to save all my individual tracks and move em to some other program if i ever wanna get some good mixing done. But as far as synths are concerned reason is the greatest program i've ever used.

A friend of mine uses Reason and Logic. He also mentioned that if you have a lot of MIDI goodies, that Reason is where its at. I'll try it out someday, but currently i have no keyboards...I make all my songs with my mic and I midi map my computer's keyboard, which kind of sucks, but oh well. Give ableton a try though-they offer free demos from their site.

It's probably my best investment ever.
