I'd been told to keep quiet about this for awhile now until the album had finished the mastering and the artwork stages, and finally, I've been told I can mention a few tidbits. BoC will make an official announcement via their site April 25th, and expect WARP to start making mention of it shortly as well.
Exclusive to WATMM, here's some factoids about the new album:
28 track double CD (seems like there are more short interludes on this one), gatefold digipak
75% is entirely new music created post-Campfire Headphase, the rest is older tracks and ideas worked up to the brother's high standards.
There will be exclusive Bleep.com tracks available to those who preorder the album and those who purchase the digital version. No word on if these are remixes or original tracks.
There will be a 'deluxe' version, vinyl only, limited to 1060 copies (you see what they did there?), which will contain 'neat stuff' (all I was told, details to come).
The album will be released in the second half of the year, 'before the leaves turn colours' (could this be the title of the album?)
The first track off the album is called 'Isolated Receiver' and will be a single release as well before the album's release. It's supposedly "their best track they feel they've done yet"(!)
The other big bit of news is that this is not the only Boards release this year - but nothing to announce at the moment.

Aye, I understand the skepticism.
It's been officially posted on the front page of WATMM, however. Seeing as Joyrex has a loose association with Hexagon Sun, he'd have to pass such a thing by them first. Seems unlikely that they'd use their fans as the butt of such a joke.
My guess is that this is legitimate, albeit with poor timing.

Even if it is, I'm not adverse to stimulating some hype. Further, I'd be highly disappointed that it wasn't a more elaborate hoax, perhaps something along the lines of a burnt-out cassette found next to a camp fire.

Roffle.
QFT.
I smell a double-bluff here, after so much rumour and misinformation there would be a certain poetic irony in something semi-official being leaked today of all days. But if this IS just another April Fools joke then the craft, thought and effort that's gone into it is lovely!
Joyrex seems reliable enough to me so... it is 'unlikely' to be a hoax as he surely has much to lose in terms of credibility in his own forum.
Exciting -if true- news: 28 tracks, old stuff, special edition, bonus material everywhere....
I don't know what you think but, if it is released in September-Octobre, it's gonna be a hell of a loooooong wait.
We'll see...
