I'm all for respect and peace, but taking an internet April fool's joke directed toward an entire community personally just because of your circumstances is irritating. Let's say my wife just died. Should I be expecting Joyrex to be sorry about that too?Fredd-E wrote:What if your mother and girlfriend got in a car accident? No, he shouldn't. And that wasn't really my point. You blatantly said he should get over himself, I don't think it's *that* easy when you've received bad news like that. Just show a little bit more respect to fellow board members when they vent their personal feelings.CoBoC wrote:I'm all for respect and peace, but taking an internet April fool's joke directed toward an entire community personally just because of your circumstances is irritating. It seemed like you totally slagged him off.

Well, maybe not apologise, but at least show a little sympathy. That was all I read into Skytree's post. I dunno, if I'd accidentally upset somebody then I'd automatically say sorry just because it's polite to show a bit of sympathy for someone going through a hard time.CoBoC wrote: Let's say my wife just died. Anyway, it's all rather academic. I know we're supposed to show Joyrex a bit of respect just because he's connected... but maybe the watmm attitude that I find so abhorrent starts with him. That place is enough to put me off listening to this stuff completely.

Yeah man, they'll pull through...thanks. Both cars are smashed to all hell though, including our Prius (hit and run). Just been a bit mental here recently. Anyhow Gordon, hope Ayrshire's well these days. How've things been since Mark moved into town?gump wrote:shit Evan, are they o.k?Skytree wrote:Just got word from Joyrex...it's a hoax.
Both my mom and GF got in car accidents yesterday, so this was the first good news I've had since...

Damn, I'm a bit sorry I posted about that, to be honest. There are clearly some misunderstandings going on here...but with the internet, it's best to leave it be. So, tah!CoBoC wrote:I'm all for respect and peace, but taking an internet April fool's joke directed toward an entire community personally just because of your circumstances is irritating.
