I as well was in grade 6, kicking ass at soccer-baseball. A friend of my brothers showed me sixtyten, roygbiv and aquarius in the beginning of summer time that year. He had already showed me Everything You Do is a Balloon and I loved them, but I didn't get their albums just yet, as I was a kid without money. And ya, I was into Weezer, Rage Against the Machine and Smashing Pumpkins. I hated Limp Bizket and most of the popular crap at the time.
Good memories.
Good memories.

I celebrated by playing a gig with my band last night. Of course I didn't realize it was the album's tenth anniversary at the time... but the spirit was still there
OH MAN! I just remembered I plugged the SHIT out of the album to a friend of our guitarist who happened to be into electronic music! What are the fucking odds...
Ten years ago I was 14. Just started getting into more electronic music as opposed to metal. Started with Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails. I also started making audio compositions of my own using found sounds and improv.

Hehe, well that count for me too.Moebius wrote:Man, some people here are making me feel old...
Isn't it great that a messageboard like this totally eliminates age differences? We judge people on what they say/think instead of how they look or how they behave. Something I still find very hard to not do in my everyday life. I'm getting better at putting aside my prejudices but it's still hard as it's almost a second nature.
