The Absolut site says exactly what it is. Warp Attack 4 with Lelia, Mark Pritchard etc.

If it's an album launch in Paris I predict it will be Jackson.

Welcome and thanks for the heads up JNo.

I moved this topic to TRS because it's not really BoC related.

Surprised this thread isn't more abuzz - is it positive this isn't BoC, then? Or are we all just real good at not getting hopes up?

BunnyRabbit could be right. Jacksons debut release is ages back, no?
And in Paris, sounds just about right to me.

Though I seriously hope its a new Boards of Canada. :P

I have some gut feeling that BoC will either do nothing to warn us that a release is near, or that they will do something way too clever...Hell, it's probably backwards somewhere on trans canada highway... "It will be out in August 2008.." ha. I'm starting to get tired of BoC though :o Never thought that'd happen!

So....today is the day Warp reveals new BoC (aka Jackson) album in Paris, right?

Anybody attending, just in case?

not that this really has anything to do with this. i am super stoked to have picked up a vinyl copy of brian eno's music for film, and that's gonna at least tide me over tonight while i wait to hear if the new boards of canada album was announced or not.

WATMM is in the dark as well on this one. Don't think anyone in the online community attended- or have bothered to post about it.

For what it's worth anymore, Joyrex says it's definitely not BoC. But whatever.
