has anyone noticed that BoC add much more details to their remixes than their own tracks some times? This isn't the best example, but maybe the Clouddead, or Mira Calix, or MbM...

Also, I love this track.

yeah...in the live version of Julie and Candy there's that loud zipperish sound that serves as the main beat, and after I heard that loudly I could hear it in the mix of the Geogaddi version, tuned down real low.

That's a huge part of the beauty of their tracks, you listen again and again and every once and a while you hear a sound you never heard before and it almost completely changes the way the song flows. The more sounds you find hidden, the better the song sounds. Most of their songs are like this too which is great.

I did some work for Warp a few years back

Did some promotional stuff for the YosepH album amongst other things

Sacked it off though as the person I was being delegated jobs by was a twat and I wanted to still love the label so called it a day

Fair play to you! It's a shame when even 'respectable' labels such as Warp still have elements like that.

I've just dug it out from the depths of my computer cos of this thread, totally forgot about its existence! Its pretty nice and pastoral isn't it.... but there's an odd chord in there towards the end that gives it a bit of a sense of uneasiness. Typical BoC I suppose.

i love that part of "kid for a day" starting at 5:00 and ending at 5:05...little detail that shifts the feel to round out the end.
