Havent seen the ad but saw them live two days ago. Must say I was disapointed :( The last time I saw them was not long after they released Spokes and they were amazing. They played stuff from their albums and the visuals were diverse and fitted the music beautifully. The gig the other night was more like a dance tent festival show - all pumped up dancey stuff for the piss-heads. and the visual were shit - glorified WMP fractals.

I supported them last night here in Belfast.
I started my set with 25 minutes of ambient tunes played off two tape decks, all the punters hated it! Haha.
When I got into the beatsy part of my set some guy and his mate came up on stage and asked me to play something harder/faster, what a bastard!
I enjoyed Plaids set but it was very dancey and I would have been happy with alot more ambient moments.
Its Belfast though, we've got loads of dickheads here.
