Hi, so here is my very educated view on what has gotta happen. As we gradually get more advanced in the technology of genetic manipulation, we should eventually dabble in using plants for large scale structures, ie. buildings, landscaping...then eventually we start to experiment with using plant DNA on ourselves as body modification, and the introduction of tree genes into our genepool will cause our very method of creating thoughts to change, putting us on a path towards harmony with the earth but gradual loss of personal identity until we are all one, stationary, harmonious organism with the Earth.
