I just found this... sounds convincing to me. Listen for the little bit of that old tunes track (who's name I can't recall) faing out at the beginning.

I like it. The track length also seems to make sence.

The thing about "fakes" is that some of them we know the original artists (mum,freescha,autechre,chaosmachine.. etc) but others we dont.
There are probably lots of fan made stuff as well but there are some fakes which really do sound authentic.

One of the best i have ever come across is this version of "close3"
Only 26 seconds but pure magic.

Hmmm... that is a nice medley, but the best fake I've heard was a mislabeled track: Over The Horizon Radar

Its what led me here to Twoism to find out who did it... never did. Its brilliant.

thats just it...
this is one of the oldest fakes.
its been around for years yet it still sounds more authentic than more recent imitations.

would love to know who did this.
can mdg not confirm its legitimacy?

That close 3 track is indidio very very beautiful. Comes close (what's in a name) to authentic BoC work.. It sure would be even better if the track would be a little while longer.

Yes it is a bit short, but maybe it sits perfectly between "found the way" and "numerator (original)".
Now i would love to hear that....
