I think they're just using their skills in order to put day jobs aside, and make their living completely off music. They're grown up boys now, eh

The more various Sandison bros' portfolio gets, the better for them as far as money making goes. I presume we can expect more and more stuff like this going on in the future, would be interesting to see them getting into film music at some point. Hey, at least their own albums are not commercially oriented, and will remain so as long as they can support themselves with producing, commercials, remixes etc. You don't have to like James, U2 or Coldplay, even if You're a fan of Brian Eno. If its a serious laugh then ok, look at Laraaji, hes one of the funniest serious musicians I know..

but if its a gimmick then its not ok for me at least (Flight of the concords are probalby the worst crap I ever heard, its not fun when you make fun of music). Its fun when you have fun making serious funny music...gha I go to bed..
