There's nothing new about that either. I don't think it should be a reflection on the artist... and I totally agree with a northern soul about crazy in love, that song is great

Beyonce is a vehicle, it's like hating the postman for the gas bill you just got. Cathy Dennis is an amazing pop song writer, just thought I'd throw that in there.

She's gonna be huge when she gets older, truth.

But yeah, she's pretty easy on the eye.

I hope it's never released as a single - I couldn't bear hearing the sampling of BoC coming out of the mobile phones of idiots.

So true. If there's one thing that annoys me than it is those fools with their cellphones at loud in de subway, with the most tasteless music (50 cent most of the times, or anything similair). And asking them to turn them off because it bothers me, will them just turn up the volume..

Does this sound familiair? Does it happen in your countries too?

Yeah, the "song wars" are the most annoying. You know, like Linkin Park vs. 50 cent etc. Who's got the loudest phone wins. Ugh.. People have a pretty reserved mentality here, so it's often that no one nerves himself together to tell them to cut it out  Headphones - learn to use them. Nobody cares what kind of music you like.

This happens everywhere. Even in a moderately small town like Salem, OR. The part about it that gets me is there's a surprising amount of young kids doing it, too... then again... 20 years ago it was neon clothes, swatches, and slip on shoes... all just fads

doesn't matter, so many idiots on public transit use cheap open headphones with the volume so loud you can hear them quite clearly anyway. either keep the volume down or use some sealed/in-ear phones that don't leak sound.

All true.. But I remember me listening to 'older people' when they politely ask me if I could keep it down or some'. Back in the days that was more common then nowadays.. (Man I'm getting old :)).
But yes it's annoying, irritating and frustrating. It's just as it seems that those youngsters are a bit too selfish. Why should that be?? Hmm, maybe kids these days are listening not enough to BoC.. 8)

The track is cool..I haven't heard the whole album yet but it sounds pretty interesting, has this 60's soul influence mixed with downtempo stuff..worth a listen, I suppose....
