I was thinking, that 11 minute track in on eof their livesets, isn't that basically the same idea, rythmically, as some dubstep? It was made 5 years are so before dubstep even existed, but its kind of funny...that track, along with Basefree or something, could be proto-dubstep....
Black then White are all I see in my infancy...Red and Yellow then came to me, reachin' out to me, lets me see...

I'd believe that.polar sky wrote:half of their supposed electronic sounds are organic. so they say.saturdayindex wrote:I wonder if their new album will involve more electronics (read: blips, beeps, effects) and less organic sounds and sound trippier than TCH, with more vocals etc...

I listened to Basefree twice as I went to sleep last night. It's amazing how they squeeze so much emotion out of something so simple. They create an atmosphere so difficult to achieve, or even describe.
So, what if they created more music like this? More minimalist, creative techno...
This post is going nowhere but I'm sending it anyway.

that's been my favorite song for quite a few years now. not sure how it'd sound with a boc twist....?mechanismj wrote:I've always loved that song. That would be neat.polar sky wrote:Wouldn't mind hearing something new from them playing nothing but traditional drums and synths that resembles a style of Pink Floyd's - Any Colour You Like, with that awesome EMS Synthi A synth line in the beginning with the drums.

Just got myself a mint vinyl copy of 'Metamorphic Reproduction Miracle' the other day, which is getting quite a bit of play here.
