Aidan Baker shouldn't be an unfamiliar name to most of you by now. The Canadian has released numerous cds, cdrs and mp3s on labels from all around the world as a solo artist, in a band or collaborating with other artists.
On this album Aidan uses (as usual) his guitar but also other instruments and tools like tapeloops and sampled dialogue. The result is the three long and beautiful tracks that constructs this album. 44 minutes of soft, ambient textures and deep drones.

And yea, I don't even think those two tracks you mentioned are the best ones (as great as the 'Midas Touch' remix is)... 500 is likely the best of the MASK series in terms of consistently awesome stuff throughout.

The Keynell EP took a while to grow on me, but now it's addictive as fuck! Now I just gotta get/hear the Autechre remix EP.

Yea, I am happy with my MASK500 purchase for sure. I can't really say the same for MASK400 though. It doesn't seem nearly as awesome as 100, 200 and 500. I've yet to hear 300.
