left side drive is also a reference to bicycles. some bmx bikes come left side drive and they did have a tune named 'bmx track'.

well i think it's safe to say that they'd catch the "LSD" reference there... so i think that second meaning's there too

but i think left side drive would refer to the fact that in north america (canada) the driver is on the left side of the car

it's the side you'd drive on while on the trans canada highway
