Hello saturdayindex and Vordhosbn and Treefingers

Post by ZX-Pilot »

I like you, how old are you? What do you do? Tell me all the juicy details! :)

You are interesting, I want to talk with you on this thread. Is that okay?

How do you do?

Three of you - you are the best individuals here. I mark you as the peak of intelligence on this otherwise worthless pile of bedroom musician teenagers' MESSAGEBOARD.

The rest of you puddles, please don't pollute this thread with your weak adolescent uncool wheening. Let us, real people, talk here. Thankyou.

:P

I don't buy into compliments.

...but would that automatically enter me into the list?
We appear to have entered a paradox. One of our lives must end, and so I propose an English grammar competition to decide who must go.
Best grammar wins.

Sure you don' buy into compliments, that's why you are on the list. Regarding your second remark, if one of our lives must end then I propose russian roulette. FUN!

Okay, you wrote "English grammar". Grave mistake. You should write "english grammar" without capitalization.
But noble as I am, I am going to spare your life. You will be more useful alive.

That's it - it's a grammar-off! We've got ourselves a grammar-off!

Actually, "English" should be capitalised as it's a proper noun. :)
how I could possibly forgot
This should have been "how could I possibly forget" (though the second time you say it you get a BIT better and say "how could I possibly forgot"). The word "forgot" is past tense, whereas "forget" is present tense and future tense, as fits in the sentence.

There's more, but I'm not sure if I believe it's stylistic and not actually incorrect...
