i had the exact same thought the other night, with the campfire headphase being mike and marcus removing their masks album for myself...farwell fire seems like the ideal goodbye song. i always seem to forget trans canada highway. i'm going to stick it on now

Trans Canada Highway is one of the most underrated EPs EVER!!!!!!!!! Ive listened to that EP thousands of times! HIGHLY recommended!!!

Left Side Drive is fucking brilliant. You know that fugue-like part around 4 minutes in? It's in the same (rainbow) vein as the ending of the Last Walk Around Mirror Lake remix. I love that stuff.

Agreed, Trans Canada Highway is filled with Kickassery. Under the Coke sign is one of my favorite short pieces.

I only just realised that the names of The Campfire Headphase and Trans Canada Highway both have the acronym TCH... perhaps the beginning of a series?

On the other hand, I completely agree with this.

The ones on Trans Canada Highway have a completely different feel to me, with the longer ones more percussion based and the short ones very minimalist. It's much colder than Campfire Headphase (which is apt in several ways).

I personally like to think that Trans Canada Highway is some shit they did after the fact while releasing Headphase, 'cause they were still all inspired by the path they had taken musically, and then they went "Oh shit, that would have been so killer, too bad we already released Headphase." So they just put out the rest as another record.

I think its tracks that didn't fit The Campfire Headphase, by no means leftovers as they are as good as music can be!

Wonder how the new records will sound and when it will be released...maybe a december release date and they will announce it next week! :O how about that?
