I think 84 Pontiac Dream works great on there for a cell phone ring.

Yeah, I'd like to know too. It's good. A shame though it came up as 'Hey Saturday Sun'. Maybe a mistake from the uploader?

I might just get a cell-phone, just so I can have BoC as my ringtone.

I always make the fatal error of putting a full track on my phone and then when it rings I just sit and listen to it... Right now It's "Midlife Crisis" by FNM.

I am with Virgin Mobile and was blown away to find "Happy Cycling" in their library of ringtones. It's a synthesized polyphonic ringtone, but it's good enough for me.

I agree.
I had thought about using Bocuma as a ringtone but I didn't want to lose the magic of those first notes.

Totally agree with you. I used Justice vs. Simian - We Are Your Friends as alarmclock, and i'm totally sick of it now, but i loved it before. You shouldn't use too good music for alerts like this. I can listen to BoC a million times, but if i use it as a ringtone the song will always remind me of my Phone ringing, which sucks.

The thing about ringtones is that they are personal and sentimental to the individual. A form of expression if you will. That being said, music is the same way regardless of the track or artist. When searching for ringtones, I may find the track I'm looking for but never the specific part of the track I want to use. So, to remedy this I just use an audio program, open the track I want and extract the section I want to use and export. Recently, I've been using the track Sixtyniner, 1:18-1:48.

Happy Cycling

I really should give it another try.. There's just always been something I really didn't like about that track.
