honestly, i feel like becoming a parent is the perfect thing to rejuvenate the child-like nostalgia feeling. but now its coming from a different end of the spectrum.
as for me, when i found out one had moved to new zealand, and one had moved to california or something, that kind of broke my heart.

Cmon guys, god won't punish you if you say what you dislike about the band.
The Odd Nosdam remix is good I think. I can't think of a single thing BoC have done that hasn't pleased the ears. The only thing I can think of is Solange tarnishing Slow This Bird Down.
Either than magic window being a kick in the pants, I'm happy with all of their work up until now.
The Solange thing was crappy, but that's Solange, not BoC being crap.
I have to agree with Hills West in that they should have released more of the Geogaddi songs. I'm itching to hear them. They should've released a bonus/extras cd set or something. That would've been nice.

The Good Friday remix is the only thing I absolutely hate.
Perhaps it's because I listened to the original song A LOT when Alopecia came out and that I am so used to the original version, I think having the song any other way ruins what it means to me.
Magic Window is also up there, but it's not something I hate, it's just... there.

the effect of magic window only works when you listen to the japanese version of the album from start to finish. the whole idea of the silence (magic window) before "from one source all things depend" just works so well. its almost like the silence is music. your gonna have to try this to see what i mean. i cant explain this very well at all. as a standalone track is sort of a non-entity, i would say. i dont really think geogaddi was meant as an album to cherry pick tracks off of to listen to. its why i listen to it so rarely.

Probably the fact that the non-Japan versions of Geogaddi didn't have From One Source at the end so instead of being a meaningful pause in the music bridging one artistic idea to the next, it was just empty space at the end of the album that happened to have a name. I could name the space between my nuts and my taint but that doesn't make it any more pleasant.

The amount of fade-outs used on TCH. It just seems so...easy. Like they couldn't think of a good ending.
And somewhat TCH in general, still don't love it like the rest.
Oh and, the video for Dayvan Cowboy... Starts of great, but then the stupid surfer, who is supposed to be the same guy who came falling from the air..nahh.
