What kind of odds do you put on this being the case? I'm going to say that there's a 60% chance that BOC are retiring the Boards Of Canada project.

Most misleading thread subject EV4R!!
I just think people are getting impatient, that's all. We want information, and Boards of Canada is not willing to give it up, thus people start to assume the worst.
You know, I enjoy the books of Cormac McCarthy (the author of No Country For Old Men), and outside of an interview he did with Oprah, he NEVER gives interviews, never releases news or his opinions. All he does is write books and let's them speak for themselves. No publicity whatsoever... but you don't see people on the internet predicting that he's retired from writing because he hasn't released a book in a few years. Go figure.

yeah, except that BOC have made statements in interviews about how they might move to different countries. and they've done some outside producing. just seems like they might be headed this way.
i would love to be wrong. but I have an aching feeling that the ride is over. that would be fine. they would be leaving us with some great music. but of course, another great album would be nice too.
