AWESOME

"Hopefully it will be this year, if I can prize it out of his hands. It's definitely on its way."

This will be a great year for music!

I love how all the classic Warp artists are like bratty children when it comes to their music. That includes BoC.

im probably the only one here who despises that spastic nonsense that he seems to make (along with squarepusher - even though i own most of his stuff but never listen to it anymore). i dont know..i cant ever get into aphex...his sounds are original as hell..just not for me..but i do own selected 2 and "on" and from time to time ill listen..

Looking foward to some new aphex twin. I hope he's truly going to put out what he wants, when he wants still. The more people ask for SAW 3, the more a distant dream it will become IMO. It couldn't possibly live up to the hype in this day and age anyway. 2009 is definitely going to be the most unexpected year ever in music, even if that doesn't mean the best year in music. I'm gearing up for lots more sudden "you must listen to this, the album of the year" type nonsense from the suits putting out albums into the shops by bands you hadn't heard of the day before and it all being predictably safe, perfectly engineered blandness for the spoonfed. However, I'm confident this year will spawn an album that will influence releases for a long time to come too.

Na, I'm not getting any hopes up, just a bit fed up with people waiting for "Saw 3" to come and save music. It's already a shit film and franchise anyway now. If anything head turning shows up this year, it's not going to be from Aphex twin, hopefully it will be from the inspiring underground, artists such as Milieu, Mrs.Jynx, fieldtriqp, Quosp, Loafeye, Trills, Jaffa Kid, etc come to mind.
