I discovered this page years ago. Very informative but it gets more complex by the day. Must've been a hell of a job to put it up.

An enjoyable and informative site, the humour deployed in the text descriptions
of each style is clever, and also definitely required as you are confronted with
unquestionable horrors of Booty House, Speed Garage and the ultimate crime
against music: Happy Hardcore, which makes me immediately reach for the
bottle opener.

Seriously, though, you can't help but have the ultimate respect for the author
of this website, he covers every possible electronic music genre in depth,
and seasons his great descriptions with plenty of tongue-in-cheek insight.

There is an underlying message which comes shining through as well, which
is just how often sub-genres are invented by the music press to make it sound
as though they have discovered some niche slice of exotica, and bring it to the
people to 'educate' them in the ways of appropriate musical taste.

Thanks, this is a fantastic find, I'm going back there now!

Haha, I was in the same predicament in high school - besides the fact he played the thong song and linkin park.

I'm gonna look into this page a bit more, see if I can discover some things =)
