Bit of a moan, a request and a catch up all in one

Post by SallyBear »

OK, so the request first, as it's the shortest.......

As I have now finished university and starting out in the wonderful world of illustration.....
......"ah......pause as that bit just kicked in at 0:57 of Miranda's Infatuation"........anyway have to get this illustration blog this sorted, just finished it but really need a few people to visit and leave a comment, or course a nice one. If you have two mins free and wouldn't mind taking a peek it would really help.http://sarahekershaw.wordpress.com/

Catch up now, well some of you might not know me, whenever I visit here at least another 50 or so people have joined. Well its the best forum on the net. I know this is true!!!! Have finally finished uni, at last. Feels great. Going to relax for the summer before getting a job hopefully. Am bringing in a little bit of illustration work but its not that easy. Been spending an awful lot of time urban exploring and going underground and things like that, great for photography. Anyway going to have a LOT of free time from now till September so if anyone needs any illustration work doing let me know, or music listening to, send it my way!!!

Moan time.........actually foget moan, going to stay happy for a change.

Last thing once again, pleeeeeeeease check out my blog and my flickr page. Would love to get some feedback, would really help me.

Loving the blog and photos Sallybear - especially the fish. Something strangely hypnotic about them!!

You being doing the Urb-Ex thing long? I keep telling myself I should get into it but some of the sites seem a little - I don't know - cliquey??

Congrats on finishing at Uni too. I remember that feeling very well. :D

You have great focused style. The square-shaped illustrations at the bottom of the screen caught my eye--I'm thinking you do 365 of those and make one of those desktop calendars? Maybe have some chosen subject so as to direct it toward an audience? Now that'd be marketable!

Congrats on getting out of Uni, and if I haven't introduced myself, I'm Jed.

Congratulations Sarah!

I really like your style! Still a shame you didn't make a cover for the Kitty Mallitti mix. Perhaps I'll request a cover again in the future. ;)

I wanna go do some urban exploring. I think abandoned places are cool, I'm a bit obsessed with Pripyat.

That's one dodgy place to go exploring, but yeah - agreed.

Haha yeah I suppose you're right what with the radioactivity and all that but still it's safer these days :D I think it's amazing that a city of 50,000 people can just empty in three days and it's stood uninhabited for the last 23 years
